Sunshine here but no gardening today. Littlest chicklet and her friends (15 years young, all of them) have requested a trip to the zoo!! Marwell is not far from us, and have a very little baby leopard that has been on the news. So i'm taking them, armed with a pile of papers from work that have to be looked at some time this weekend - might as well do it at the zoo
Gardening tomorrow - need to get my new crocosmias in the ground and have another session digging up oak saplings - definitely my worst weed of 2014.
I'll save you a piece of cake for later. Little fairy won't mind
Ten degrees out there so not as cold as I thought but frost forecast for tonight. I'm quite high above sea level but toms are quite sheltered against house wall and fence so don't know whether I should get some fleece for them. Stuff taken out for making cake to get it warmed up, washing on and breakfast being had so I'll have a quick catch up here before baking
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Chicky, we've been digging up oak saplings for the last few weeks too, never known so many! But then last winter I was raking acorns up for ever.......millions of them!
Morning All I'm going to promise not to mention the H word again now until next Saturday......I'm trying not to get too excited Thanks for the tips re towels, I will have a look into it, I just always take my own, we have a case each now so no bother really.....anyway, that's all I'm saying
KEF, it's a good job your anticipated the PM's issue and sent one before the ad appeared
Lily, I will share the other countdown pic towards the end of September, I've already been told off twice for mentioning the 'C' word, although it is unavoidable when planning planty pressies 124 is all I'm saying for now
Hi folks just popping in on OH's laptop I do keep up with what's going on using son's iPad, but for some reason it won't let me log in here so I have to read and keep my thoughts to myself
Glad your mum's not too bad Lesley - parents are such a worry - children too
What I need to know is, when will this lovely sunshine dry the lawn out so I can mow it?
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Hi Dove - i used to have problems logging in here with an iphone or ipad. I found if you open the site using Safari rather than Google the problem goes away - no idea why it works, but you might want to give it a go
Right, I'm off, we are going up to Bedale today as little man is quad biking (a Christmas present - gift experience thingy), I'm hoping the rain stays away.
