    Morning all.

New teenager has left the building. Right old rush n rigmorole this Morning, getting ready on time for school. Thanks for your good wishes. At least he enjoyed the morning and his pressies ( ha! that predictived to pressure!).

Established teenager still in bed, should be revising for mock a levels on Wed. Sadly many cross and frustrated words flying around our house atm.

But hey! There's Sun on the garden. Must put garden on my to do list.

Dove, dentures can have name labels incorporated into the plastic, very common in care homes to avoid mix up and loss. All dentures should be removed at night, staff should be aware of that. The impressions will not keep over time but if model casts are used these can be.

Hope everyone feels good and happy today. X

Mrs G image  Thanks for the info re the labels - they do take them out - it's just that in the past they've left them where Ma can get at them - however that was before her formal diagnosis of dementia - things are a bit different now image

Morning Bekkie image can you keep the snow over your way please image

Better clean up my cleaning Lady is here today, cannot have her coming into a mucky house can I ?

Hi Bekkie and Happy New Yearimage

Sounds nice where you are Frank and I'm sure it's going to smell nice when you get round to the cookery lessonimage

Glad to hear you're feeling better lilyimage.  Thanks KEF, much etter than yesterday.  I'm blaming the wind, cold and lack of sleepimage.  By the way I am a size 8 - just a shame that's my shoe size.  Sorry to hear your Kindle's playing up Pauline.  It happened to mine within the first year and they just replaced it without any problem.

Hope you don't get snow for your visit to Ma and Pa Dove and that the dentist visit goes well.

Hi LesleyK, Toad in the hole today, some finely chopped onion cooked gently in butter with my own rosemary added then after browning the local butchers sausage the lot goes in a roasting tin with the Yorkshire pudding mix on top. A nice onion gravy mash and peas (frozen not my own) will round it off. Joanne's nose will be twitching.

    Frank.

Lovely Frank, you're my favouriteimage.  Lunch here is carrot and coconut soup.  Sounds strange but from my frequent tastings it's not too bad.  I have so many cookbooks that one of my resolutions is to be more adventurous.  I've not even thought about tonight yetimage.

Couldn't get her this morning, laptop was on a go slow.

What an unusual day you had DD. Thank goodness you were there for that man, hope he has recovered.

OH will be back from England this afternoon, but I will be out as going to the hospital with a friend who had an operation before Christmas.
