Good morning Verdun - it's still quite mild here - nearly 10C ! But as you say there's snow in the forecast for later on, probably tonight and tomorrow morning here - that's because I have to visit the Aged Ps as the dentist is coming to fit Ma's new teeth!!!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Dove hope the visit goes well, do you save the impressions for Ma's teeth not all dentists keep them ? Just in case she breaks them and it saves having more taken.
Verdun it certainly was you who promised us some Spring, make it happen! x
Morning all. Trains, teenagers, teeth and to-do lists featuring this morning I see...
Feeling forced inside today. I'm no fair weather gardener but its the type of rain that gets you wet very easily. I have a weatherproof jacket and a woolly scarf so maybe I'll get round to some winter clearing and pruning after another cuppa
Morning KEF - I shall ask the dentist to save them - the amount he's charging he jolly well should - as Ma needed to use the local dentist who will visit the Lovely Home, she's going Private!!!
Her previous dentist's place is inaccessible for someone as immobile as Ma and the visiting NH dentist couldn't give an appointment for ages and I was worried about her not eating properly.
We've no idea what happened to her last set of dentures - staff think she wrapped them in tissue and put them in the bin which got emptied - they found she'd done that with other things later on. Fortunately they found her engagement ring!!!
I shall insist that they remove her teeth at bedtime and put them somewhere she can't get at them until morning (if she lets them that is!).
As Bill said earlier - "getting old sucks" .... there's a joke there
Verdun, I just told a joke!!!

Good morning everyone, brrrr it's chilly here.
Bill & Mrs Bill get well soon.
DD aren't you kind
I'd have been upset that it wasn't a bag of spuds on the ground
Panda I honestly can't think of anything to say about going to the dentist.
Chicky it used to annoy me that I bought a ticket and didn't get a seat, thought it should have been half fare
Lily hope you are feeling less sore. Lesley is the head better? Yvie fancy crawling around on the floor at 27.
