Wish I could squash slugs... can't bring myself to, can just about manage to stamp on vine weevil grubs but that's my size limit.  image  Slugs & snails get re-homed into the wood, hopefully sufficiently far away that they can't find their way back.  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Hello

Busy busy getting ready for Busy Lizzie

Just about as tidy as it will ever get image

OH now making a casserole, so dinner will be ready whatever time we get home - in this wind could well be delays!

Went into garden to tie up a bending spike and , eek, don't think I want to go out again!!

Back when we can, quite a schedule sorted out for Lizzie

Today I've been sowing cosmos and pot marigold too windy to be outside.

    Tomorrow making jam tarts.

    Afternoon all.

Had a wonderful few days with friends in Derbyshire.

Home now, totally worn out . Mercifully a day off tomorrow to recover from the good food, lots of laughter and perhaps, just perhaps, a bit too much beer and wine.

    Devon.

Must feel great to return to your garden Hosta and see how much everything has grown!

    Indeed so Wintersong,

The rain over the weekend has sent everything into overdrive.

I did go check the polytunnels , re watering, before I'd even unlocked the front door.

My neighbour has watered and opened doors, so I'm relaxed now.

    Devon.
