Morning all. Still raining here. All the tracks we drive on to get up to the house are filled with water. A good sunny day would be a help to dry them out.
runnyb. Lovely photo and hope your shingles itchiness ease off soon.
clarice. How much chilli chutney did you make? I usually dry mine. I'm lucky enough to have a dehydrating machine, so I dry all my excess vegetables and herbs. I even dry my celery tops for those times I've not got fresh celery, but when I need some for soups or stews.
Clarington, did I confuse you with someone else re heat stroke - sorry. Trouble is, if I turn to previous page, I lose my current message and need to start again. Hope you're not so hot now.
Dove And Topbird. Insect bites! Isn't always the way? Trying to relax in the evening and then you have to pay for days after and for you Topbird, just getting on with jobs and that's the thanks you get from the little blighters.
Lirio sorry to read about you Mum. Taking knitting seems like such a good idea - gives you something to do and interests her. I'm interested in looking for some Arthur Ransome books. Should be easy on Amazon. Which one should I start on - Lirio and Dove?
I'm hoping my September GW magazine turns up on the iPad today.
i looked out the bedroom window this morning and there they were. The mothers group must still be up amongst the trees - couldn't blame them. They are all wet through.
We watched a couple of episodes of John and Greg's Masterchef last night until hunger drove us to get a couple of slices of toast. That the worst thing about watching those darn shows. Makes you want something tasty.
Well, the antihistamine eased things, but I had to wake up a couple of times to reapply it.
Evening Pat ........ well they're bigger than rabbits!!!
Pdoc - Hope it's easing up
We have sunshine but I don't know for how long ........... this morning I'm popping over to see Snoodle and her little one, drink coffee and take some plants from Nut and Fidget that I've been fostering since the Bressingham trip.

Good call Dove. Husband had the jumbalaya, which was very good. Turns out the children like fresh crab (good bar when it's on my plate).
Today's children's conversation turned on pointing out and fighting invisible monsters
As Verdun said, thus morning it teemed down, but Cornwall finished on a high
Fantastic photo RB.

Gave the boys time to move on, then checked the rain gauge 22mm - that's more like it. Took a couple of photos in GH.
Young lettuce coming on.
Random hellebore seedlings. I might move some of them out to garden beds when the weather gets better
Morning all.
Back would not let me sleep, so I finally gave up and am eating some raspberries and drinking coffee.
Not sure what I will manage to do today, worried that it might involve money, to cheer myself up.
Hope other poorly people are feeling better, see you later.

Punkdoc. Sorry to hear your back is still giving you a lot of trouble. What is your Dr's prognosis? Surely he can offer you some hope for relief.
as usual my photos are the wrong way up. I've given up trying to fix them.
Hiya Pat. Gentle exercise and pain killers. Sadly a bit early in the day for my favourite remedy!
