Thats some shift Clari - hope your garlic are sprouting aa a rewardimage.

We seem to have snow forecast overnight - and we have a day of big (ie unmissable) meetings and exams between us tomorrow.  So the trusty old landrover is parked in pole position on the driveway, just in case it is needed for an adventure.  Wonder how many times I will feel compelled to get up in the night and check out the window to see if its come ??image

Runny, thanks for good wishes re throat.  Won't last long, got the lemon & honey going...  and yes, I'm trying not to think about how far away Galway is, but see it as a really good move for them which will make them happy.  Not too expensive to visit - Ryanair have flights to Shannon from Manchester for not a lot if you go on the right day.  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

David Spikes, that photo when enlarged was fabulous.

Watched the 2 gardening programmes, some gorgeous back gardens with Alan T., liked the irises with Rachel, but not the grasses. I don't care for grasses, too much like weeds, not enough colour, no scent, boring. When we were in Yorkshire I decided not to go to the Scampston walled garden but to go to the Breezy Knees garden, glad we did, Breezy Knees was fabulous. Thought those grass beds at Scampston were so dull.

Hope I haven't upset Verdun but he already knows what I think.imageimage

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Yes thank you RB, I'm ok. Arm still a little achy, but much better.

    Hope you're ok too x

Morning all, Yes Lyn I'd love tea and toast.  Couldn't sleep this morning so here I am up at this ungodly hour.  It's white over here but snow not deep.  It does look very cold and icy though.  Looks like central/southern Scotland is due to get the worst of it.

    Stay safe everyone.

Morning Yviestevie image  Coffee on the go here - just pouring a second one.

I had a strange and very vivid dream - Chris Packham was cooking me a lovely meal of wild mushrooms image
