Andy - lovely to see you I'm considering another early clematis for further along the fence. Lots of English people on the hills on Monday because of the holiday. Walked for a bit with a nice young couple from Manchester - up here for the week. Glad the weather's improving a bit now for them. The girl said they didn't know what clothes to bring and I said 'didn't you just empty the wardrobe and put it in the car?' She laughed and said ' yes - in the end that's what we did!'
Sun's come out - might get the front grass cut later if it stays fair.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Weather easing off a bit now, has been rainy and very windy all day. I was hoping to get my three geraniums in the garden today but it's not looking hopeful. They may have to wait until the morning.
I was in Glen Lyon a couple of weeks ago - the first pic was that day - Stuchd an Locahin. Wall to wall sunshine didn't even need my fleece on. Following week on Ben Vane - beautiful day again. On Saturday just gone I was on 'my hill' - Schiehallion (fairy hill of the Scots) Weather brutal - well below zero on top, and the usual raft of stupid folk in jeans with their unsuitably clothed children .... The second pic was from the car park there. No chance of any pix on the hill! On Monday I was on The Cobbler - he didn't mind Glorious day again. Got a lovely pic of Ben Lomond with a 'lowering' sky and a few others. All the snow filled clouds passed either side. Sticking to familiar hills for the moment but determined to get my 'century' of Munros this year. 8 to do

Hi Yvie and Lesley - thanks for the welcome back. Girls are fine thanks.
Youngest finished school last week. Where did the years go...
Not sure what has happened with you LP. Hope it can be sorted. I'll try and catch up a little though I'm not sure I'll manage more than half a dozen pages.

KEF, we are sharing the same weather today
The garden needs the water but not the wind
Normally the only challenging wind I have comes out of OH

Andy - lovely to see you

Today, I have mostly been watching TV.
Welcome back Fairygirl.
Hi Fairy - good to have you back
. Don't think you'll find me on the Munros as we'd lose one and wait for the other
. Hope your girls are doing well.
LilyP - can't stop thinking about your family's situation
.

YAY!!! FAIRY GIRL'S BACK!!!
I was trying to post an appropriately celebratory picture but it won't work - all I can get is the Squashed Tomato page - have I broken the internet?
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

I don't know - I go a way for a bit and you all fall apart....

Tomatoes will do
