I was entertained by a little sparrow family on Sunday - dad came down onto the ground chirruping to introduce the two youngsters who hopped along the fence chatting to each other and fluffing themselves up, while mum looked on from the shed roof. Dad looked very proud I would have got the camera but I'd have missed the antics by the time I came back out.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Just done a GH watering session (too late home last night). We have some green woodpeckers round at the moment - could hear one yaffling away, but didn't spot him (but, come to think of it, contact lenses not in yet, so probably wouldn't spot a giraffe in the garden either ).
Must do a labelling session this evening - plants for flooded gardens are being despatched very soon.
But now I should get going. London today, so might catch you all later when I am on the train
Fairy....that was a truly awful joke - but made me lol
Have not been around much, so have all the Springwatches still to catch up on .... think i will need to monopolise the telly a bit this week. But love green woodpeckers calling - always reminds me of Bagpuss
Good morning all. I was falling asleep during Springwatch so decided to have an early night. Wish we had green woodpeckers and giraffes in our garrden
Not much time for the garden today got to ferry son to a course, take dog to vets (just for booster) then shopping. Weather forecast is not good for the rest of the day. Never mind might actually get HW done.

Morning chick and Daisy. Do you get many giraffes in your 'neck' of the woods chick?
That was quite good for this time of the morning if I say so myself
Thanks Dove - but I have my brew of tea

I'm loving Springwatch Unsprung as well - the new presenter Nick Baker is a definite plus
Worth staying awake for!
