Ah. Ten to three... wondered why I was feeling a bit hungry! Always gets like that when OH is out for the day and I have free range in the garden. But it was lovely - cool but dry, though I'm glad I didn't glyphosate the Japanese knotweed cos the clouds are now gathering.
Right. Where's the cheese?
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
No rain here GG just sunny periods. Have started to clear yet another bed and salvaged 6 red heucheras and have potted up about 30 more phlox. Bed ready for clearing now. Will go for a yellow/ red/ orange theme. Has been cool colours so far. Phlox to go in another empty bed. Sitting on you know where before bath and evening in Bournemouth walking on pier and prom. Food too at some stage. Smiley!
Thanks Liri. Very weird but I had a premonition that something would go wrong. Usually does in my case so shouldn't be surprised. Little man (OL will be laughing) has a birthday on Sunday and our anniversary is on Monday. Heaven knows when I'll get back to Bonny Scotland OH has given me an early surprise of a week's cruise next year
Verdun you are just a sun hogger ..without a bed ..
Been out for lunch with a friend and bought my winter salad seeds will sow them tomorrow, not doing them now as I have clean hands and nails and decent clothes on, surprised OH recognised me
BL im not supprised you are a virgo, my mom is super woman like you!
Verdun, are you virgo?
Liri, OL will be shouting at you too
Woody, that sounds like a very pleasent plan for the evening
Aww Yvie, sounds like you are very hapoy to be on nan duty
Have trimmed the street side of the hedge, well the bits i could reach any how! Neighbours arent very happy it was such a mess, oh well, you cant please everyone!
Sorry to hear your news Lesley - hope things are ok.
Are you gonna have fish and chips Woody - I could fancy that tonight (nice bit of plaice please with mushies on the side) with a pint of Adnams. If my OH was home I think I'd try to persuade him to take me to Southwold for the evening.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
