Morning all. Shocker of a nights sleep - my brain was most insistent that I wanted to do a risk assessment for a scouts camp at 03:00 image

Today's task is to source gluten free haggis and give my garlic a prod. They went in early December after starting them in pots in October and not one has come up. Surely by now I should be seeing something? I'll have a dig around the end that my darling oh has stood on. Might need to visit a garden centre to get some more going.

    Good morning.

Don't know the temperature it is still dark, can say it is still windy image No experience of solar panels, just happy to still have roof tiles image

    Thanks for the pictures Lizzie.

Oh KEF your poor chap! Does he deserve having golf balls thrown at him?

    Good morningimage

Pleased to hear you've still got roof tiles KEFimage.  W've been lucky too.  I was up at 3 o'clock to pick up some plastic bottles that were rolling around outside the bedroom window.  Bin day today so I expect to be chasing everybody's rubbish up and down the road.

If you are in a very sunny position Dove then solar panels could be worth considering. No good to us as we don't get enough.image

What a pain about your boiler Fairyimage.

Hope all the workers have as good a day as they canimage

  • Morning, lovely sunny one here but very chilly, was -2 on the school run.

Kef, wonder what a dream expert would make of golf balls being thrown? image

Morning, another very windy night, I am more nervous than I used to be after the Tree!

    DD did Shadow settle?

Dove no panels here but friend has them and says its works

Clari Not sure a haggis has gluten in it? Should have oatmeal and not flour, I thinkimage

If I can brave the gales I am heading up to town to meet a friend today. Had to cancel all social activities over the weekend because of weatherimage

Specifications for McSween's Haggis here http://www.scottish-haggis.net/macsweenspec.pdf .  The recipe does not contain gluten -  as Lily says, it contains oatmeal not flour - but McSween say it cannot be guaranteed gluten-free because of the rist of cross-contamination in the field.  I suppose it depends of the degree of your sensitivity.

Morning all. -5° at 9am (French time) and everything was white with frost. I live south of DD, but it was colder here. HW and ironing today, unless it warms up and I can garden.
