Liriodendron thank you, that helps, the problems all seem to have been at the Chinese end.image Russian end had no problem with the pets.

Matty thank you also, the Chinese eat black dogs and the dogs are black!image

hope you have a lovely break

4th Panda officialdom gone too far. None of them have left and are hoping to sort tomorrow when some "officials" are available. Disaster

Lily P - my son used to do business with China - they seerm to have a totally different understanding of procedures to everyone else - in the end he just gave up  image  I'm sure your family will get it all sorted eventually, but it will have to be done the way the Chinese want (and may, in our experience, cost more money image).

Russians in general seem far more pragmatic and reasonable.  (His ex is Russian and he's done a lot of travelling there.)

KEF, sorry you didn't enjoy your day - you should've come down to Cromer image

Panda - I admire your determination image

SGL is a Ross-ette too, so she's got to be on the Poldark express. Didn't know TOPBIRD and DOve were fans as well, have to book a bigger venue. image Anyone else climb aboard.......so to speak image=

Oh, from the beginning, but I just smoulder quietly image

    I wouldn't, RB!

Dove's Cromer day out sounds great, just the sort of day I like.

DD, I'm sure you can come and meet Matty. Glad you're coming to the Strawberry Tea. Will Charlie be coming? Most of us are on the elderly side, if he doesn't mind he'll be welcome!

I hope it can all be sorted Lily P, how worrying.

Lizzie, if Runny runs away, all the more for the rest of us image

Hi all ( if any still up) probably Gazza for me too, unexpected guests arrived and drank copious amounts of wine.

BL - hope we can pass Charlie onto someone else for the afternoon, but he does appreciate gardening if a little over enthusiastic.image

Matty will be lovely to meet you and cake always a good icebreaker. image

Fed up with weeds, been digging all day at them. image

Still working on rockery, way bigger project than I first thought - ever onwards.image

Good morning all image  We've just had our first night over 10C image  and its raining and raining and raining - hopefully the pond will begin to fill up.  Mind you, the rain doesn't seem to put the robin off - he was waiting under the table on the terrace for me to appear with the mealworms this morning.
