No rain here. I've put the hosepipe on the sweetcorn.

I've made a big pot of chilli for tea. Just need to grate some dark chocolate in it.

Hello, I'm back image  Hair tidier, nice new top purchased in the sales and some M&S Vietnamese-style wrapped pork and veg 'bites' had for lunch.

Panda, I forgot to get more antihistamine cream image  I've got bites on my arms, legs and one on my toe!  That last one's the worst! image  OH has a trip to the dentist this afternoon - I may be able to persuade him to call at a chemist on the way back - I think he'll be willing - he didn't sleep well and had to abandon ship and go in the spare room - apparently I was keeping him awake with my scratching image

Have you got any witch hazel in the cupboard Dove? That's good for insect bites - especially the gel. image

Itchy and scratchy here too - disturbed all the gnats when I was mowing under the hedge on Saturday morning.

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Nope - I had some witch hazel gel but that went home with son some months ago and I've not replaced it.  image

There's a bucket of water on Mum's balcony that's been there for a week (as part of her automatic watering system) and now has lots of gnat/midge larvae in it.  I'm keeping a close eye on it and will tip it away when the first pupae appear!  'Tis amazing how fast they colonize new habitats.
