Morning all - slightly better here for now regarding the high winds and rain - for now thankfully. Not sure the ferries will be running for Liri though. The sea will be rough....
The travels haven't altered Edd's sense of humour I see
I've had worse presents than pans though. I don't mind those sorts of things - I'm practical, don't really care for fripperies anyway! In fact, since C*******s is coming, there's a waterproof cover for my rucksack I could do with...
There must be a lot of flies in those Pat
Off for a quick look to catch up before I go to work
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Fly traps emptied , new clean water and bait in. We live in fly heaven, here.(both blowflies and those irritating little bush flies that try to crawl into your eyes, nose and mouth.) there were also European wasps drowned in there. Me no complain!
Fairygirl - I use fly trap bait which comes in sachets - trying not to laugh here.
It is for sale in the hardware shops along with the traps. They also sell sachets of wasp bait. If you are serious, I can have a look at the list of ingredients for you, but I suspect you don't really want to know. I don't think you have anything like our fly problem in your climate. I'm envious.
Feel much better after my cuppa ....might need a second
Hope your elbow is feeling better pdoc - at least you will be out there for a bit. I haven't cut anything back yet. I find that it looks dreadful for a couple of weeks, but if you can shut your eyes to it then it all gets crispy amd quite magical. Since I am normally at work in November daylight hours, that's quite easy for me
Lesley has scared me with her talk of C*****s shopping ......does that mean I need to start making a list

Morning all.
Just been out and it is so warm outside, shame it is so grey and miserable looking.
Elbow allowing I shall be cutting back some of the most floppy perennials. Like to try and leave some stuff for the critters to over winter.
Keep taking the tablets Edd.
