Bought a new jumper from Next today, one of those that looks like it as a shirt underneath (the ladies will know what I'm talking about), anyway just have a look at the pics on the shirt part

Evening all, spent most of today trying to catch a rabbit.  Next doors bunny has, apparently, escaped into my garden.  I'm just worried the flipping thing will eat the plants.

    Nice shirt Flumpy.

    Nice one Flumpy!

Just back from counting money in the Town Hall, donations and ticket money from the "Flood Messiah" performance which the local choral society and orchestra put on this evening, all proceeds going to the Calderdale flood appeal.  Choir and orchestra paid to take part and the soloists just got expenses. The total will be around £2,500 to £3,000, and the government has promised to match everything raised for the flood appeal.  image

I think I've managed to stuff everything I really need in Ireland, into my hand luggage... it should be easier on my return journey, since I have various things to offload for the grandchildren.  I'm getting excited!  image

If that rabbit touches my plants Lily your dog will be greeted with open arms and a big bone.image

  • We have a lot of trouble here with bunnies Yviestevie - the wild ones. Depending on how big your garden is, if you put blood and bone around the garden beds the rabbits will not cross over it. You may well laugh but I do this with each of my garden beds and I have no bunnies eating my plants but other properties in my street have rabbits by the hundreds eating everything. Blood and bone is not only cheap but it's good for the plants and doesn't vanish in the rain.

Good morning all image  G'day to Pat and Ginger image

Ridiculously mild night last night - our low was 10.4C!!! it's 10.6 and rising at the moment and the central heating came on and switched itself off again!   And it's not because of cloud cover either - there's a wonderful full moon hanging low in the western sky and shining in on me as I noodle here with you lot.

We used to have pet bunnies living in our garden when Wonky was small - well, a litter escaped and lived there for a while until we caught them all - they didn't seem to do much damage. image

Morning Dove, Yes I know I'm not normally around at this time of day but woke with a headache so made a cuppa and thought I'd check in while I drank it.  Bunny was spotted again late last night in the garden.  Neighbour came round and I told them to get on with it, I wasn't going out there in the dark searching.  No idea if they caught it.
