Clari, this is the best one I know http://www.thepoultrygarden.com/phpbb/ - someone I knew through work is a rare breed poultry breeder and she says it's the best.
Now that I've battened down all hatches in preparation for the promised heavy rain and possible storms, the sun's come out
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
KEF, this Panda doesn't like brollies, although I have a lovely Chelsea umbrella under my desk shame I didn't see fit to use it! I do, however, usually have a much better coat on so brolly not needed
hi all, dentist didn't get kicked and had lovely visit to Dore moor garden centre, was helped by such a nice chap, even little lo go in to big hutch and stroke rabbits, got a few plants, 2. Carnations/ dianthus? A strwberry , a courgette, a salvia and a trailing geranium, all for £12, much nicer, more helpful and cheaper than usual TC, and not really much further, we will be visiting again, they have a trachelospermum with my name on it!
Rosemummy, you were only about 2 miles from where I live, although I have to admit, I have never been to that GC.
Yes, I agree Verdun, they bring real structure to my hot bed, along with Dahlias. Most of the rest of the bed is filled with Atriplex, Ricinus and bright red and oramnge annuals of various types. You definetely need sunglasses on to view it.
Escaped from my dungeon to find the sun shining, but some serious puddles around. Nearly home - hope noone else has bagsed the telly - i have some dedicated springwatching to do
Pdoc I imagined you further "out" than that nearer a res'. Thought altitude for poppies
Just scoffed my meal, salad leaves, rocket, spring onions ( aka as shallots picked young) radishes all 5 of them, the 6th fell on the floor earlier last bag of our frozen peas, oven chips and cold beef from yesterday that I grew myself and cumber and toms that had no taste..but it won't be long
Have a great evening all, soon be time for slug watch.
