    Well home counties have been well and truly hit now Fairy! I work in an office next to the Thames and it is all getting a bit hairy - but at least it is not my home. So awful for those affected. Hope Stacey and Pentillie are safe from damage. As well as all those in the SW who have been suffering this for weeks. Heartbreaking

    Punkdoc, your garden sounds like my garden - lots of soggy bits of last year's perennials  draping themselves all over the new shoots that are peeking through - they need removing but if I walk on the lawn I'll either ruin the lawn or squidge some frogs - so I'm staying indoors image
