    Morning all, afternoon Patimage

    How's the toe today Pat?

Glad your thumb's back to normal Dove.  Hope you don't get too wet today.

Hosta you're way ahead of yourself today - you'll need a siesta later.

DD I hope OH had a good night's sleep.  It's miserable going out in the dark on Autumn and winter mornings.

I've not seen River but do enjoy Lewis.  I don't like the two part format they are showing it in now though.  My memory is not up to remembering what happened a week ago so we record it and watch both togetherimage

    Morning / afternoon all.

Wet and windy overnight [ although I at least stayed dry! ]

I really struggle with multi-part series as well. Have to keep asking OH who the characters out.

Don't think I will start lifting Dahlia tubers today.

    Have a good one.

Morning all. Having a quiet brekkies as the grandchildren aren't up yet.

I was woken up by the man who does the strimming around the electric fences. I hope he shuts the gates. Poor chap, last time he strimmed a wasp nest and ran out of the field and the horses escaped when they realised he hadn't shut the gate!

Haven't seen Lewis or River. Used to watch Holby City. It's not easy for me to watch serials as OH doesn't like them, except for Downton Abbey. I recorded all the Indian Summers to watch when he was at choir then missed the last one because we were away. OH tends to watch documentaries and University Challenge which he's brilliant at, knows all the maths/physics type questions imageimage

DD Lewis started three weeks ago!! , last night was the third episode, although they are splitting them, so part 1 & 2 of the first story gone, and part 1 of the new one last night. I don't like them split like that so record them and wait for the full story.

Can you get them OnDemand or catch up?

Does anyone remember a bear called Gladly, just reminded me after my predictive text email to Hosta!

So no one remembers Gladly. He was the babies teddy in the cartoon series the Perishers. Daily Mail I think.

Hosta, you were up early and I was up late, still internetting at 2am.

Hello everyone. For some reason none of your posts came through, but just now, scrambled back through the Forkers thread and there you all were.  -don't ask me, it's all a big mystery to me.

my toe is fine and a very fetching range of colours.  Pity I cant admire it with socks on. The weather has dropped from 30c yesterday to 21c this afternoon. and we had 6.5mm rain yippee!  I don't know how my body is supposed to adjust to climate variation from one day to the next when the weather can't make up its mind.image

    Morning again one and all.

Went back to bed but didn't sleep, so yes Lyn, a wee siesta this afternoon is called for.

The rain has most certainly arrived now.

OH hates driving in rain and it looks

    Paperwork and tunnels today.

Cluster flies have invaded the cool tunnel now so more fly papers needed.

  • Thanks for that Lyn, will try and find it on the catch up thingy. Also might find Unforgettable Fairy, need something to keep me occupied now the dark nights are upon us. I do think that actress is very good, so often these dramas have really good actors in them.image

Your OH sounds very clever BL, my OH is a mathematician too and clever, I like to think of myself as 'arty'. image  Enjoy your quiet breakfast, the peace won't last long. image

Right, going to get out there whilst it's nice and get some work done. image
