Jimmy, it's when you call the landline, leave a message, then immediately call the mobile, and leave another message, and STILL some don't phone you back.

    ggggrrrrrr

None of that silly nonsense to trouble me for a while though.

Gorgeous sunny day and the wind turbine is motionless, a rarity in these parts.

Might take advantage of the wind free conditions and spray pathclear on the drive.

Morning all. Lovely and sunny again, although it was 5 degrees when I went to SM.

Today I will mostly watching the cricket and then hopefully reading the newspapers in the garden. I feel there may be alcohol involved at some point.

    Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all - no time to catch up. At least we saw some sun yesterday after the very low night time temps. Don't think my toms have much chance  - temps are so low during the day never mind at night - struggling to stay in double figures through the day here image

I had a nuisance call the day after I moved here. Only SKY knew the number, and it wasn't them....image

Enjoy the cricket doc and Verd - it's looking promising

Have a good day all - I'm off to the mines image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Morning, more rain forecast today. Yesterday was so lovely, we just can't get two in a row this summer. Doubt any tomatoes will ripen.

heading off to meet a lovely friend who makes fab balms, she usually brings me one!

have a good day whatever you do.

    Morning all

What shall I do with my day?

Just finished watching the Autistic Gardener, wow, that show makes me humble. Genius concept for so many reasons, can't wait for more

Best get up now then, maybe I'll wash the car today, a bit of light pottering and a read in the bath later. Worn out after 6 hrs driving lessons this week, she's away for two weeks now which gives me a rest and time to practice in my own car image

    Morning all.

Nice day here. Today I shall be edging the lawn (cut yesterday just before the rain set in), feeding a few shrubs & doing a little dead heading. May spray the box hedge against blight and weed kill the drive this evening if the wind doesn't pick up.

Then it's SM and library to collect some books ordered for hols in a few weeks time.

    Enjoy your days.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
