Thanks Pdoc hand's just tingly now. I think I'll survive I left a load of gardening stuff lying about - thank goodness OH was at home to clear up after me.
We're enjoying the Naked Choir too Hosta
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I sang in choirs from school age until my forties. I used to work for the Norfolk & Norwich Festival and the King of Hearts Early Music Centre in Norwich at the time Gareth Malone was at the UEA and was a member of the UEA choir - they were very involved in both the festival and the King of Hearts, performing for both - he's always looked very familiar - I'm sure our paths must've crossed.

Evening all. Dinner's been had - Italian hamburgers. That's burgers in a griddled ciabatta instead of a roll...with fresh basil. I can thoroughly recommend it!
Hope the hand's a bit better tonight Dove. Did you milk it and get OH to do dinner...
'Choral Stimulation' - Trust the Glesgae Uni students to lower the tone, eh Hosta?
Oldest fairylet was in the RSNO training choir when she was a nipper. How he (Christopher Bell) got a bunch of 8 to 10 year olds making that fabulous sound within a matter of weeks was nothing short of miraculous.
Great news DD - hope he's well on the road to recovery now
Just read Jo's news about her friend too - how sad. I'd already decided last week to do next year's walk for the British Heart Foundation. Who knows what's waiting round the corner for us...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Dove.....you poor thing! I think a day off is in order!....sofa...TV....cake
Lesley, I'm on washload number 4 now and there doesn't look like there's a dent in the amount of laundry to be done at all! But Runny can smell the soapsuds from hers so it must be getting clean!
Fairy, dinner sounds yummy! Think I may have to try that one!
Had a nice afternoon in the garden, feel like I am making some progress again. OH came home and then went for an afternoon snooze. Seems silly but he said he feels exhausted despite spending last 5 days in bed - nowhere quite like your own bed though is there.
Another last minute guest arrived from Marseille, very smart business man in a lovely car, but extremely nice, made himself at home put on his track suit and sat watching tv with a beer, so nice to see people feeling relaxed.
Luckily we have 2 tv's so I won't miss River. I watched it on iplayer the other night and quite liked it, had a nice quirky element to it. Btw Bizzie Lizzie, we get iplayer by logging onto OH's computer in his office in England (don't ask me how), it works great for us.

OH did volunteer Fg, but I'd prepped most of it already so it was straightforward and he always washes up.
I'm ready for a doze now ............
Sweet dreams everyone - see you in the morning ...

Have a good evening all
Evening all,

Night Dove
I'm recording River as I watch Lewis - I'm secretly in love with Lawrence Fox, even though I'm old enough to be his mother ...
He'll feel exhausted DD. It's a petty big trauma to deal with, but as you say, nothing like being in your own bed and own surroundings
Hope the weather stays fine to get that washing out WW. Have you erected a washing line along the entire road to fit it all in?
The burgers were very good - griddling the ciabatta made all the difference! It was like having meaty bruschetta
