Just hope all are okay & property & garden's okay.
Stacey hope you feel much better tomorrow.
We've been lucky, windy and rain but not too bad. Done my Mrs. Scrubbit job and now home preparing evening meal. I'm doing no more shopping, so no idea what we'll have tomorrow night, as usual my fridge is full of Xmas goodies that I won't touch until 25th. Bread & jam anyone ? Is it bad to send for a take away on Christmas eve ? Joking there is gammon joint that I should cook.
Reminder ...does anyone need to start defrosting things?
Got out fairly early, 9:30, to do the supermarket sweep and have to admit I really quite enjoyed it. Just went round at my own pace ignoring the elbows looking at all the festive goodies and listening to the seasonal music. All done until I discover that one missing ingredient.
Pile of special hand-wash woolies handwashed and drying. Two batches of sausage rolls baked, ditto mince pies - all hidden from OH. Big pot of spicy red cabbage baked. Big pot of cranberry & orange sauce made. Gammon boiled, glazed and baked. Cooking liquor reduced so it'll fit in a jug in the garage fridge for making pea and ham soup at a later date. Supper is in the oven - OH is home and drinking a well deserved pint, our feet are up and we are watching Cheers.
Think we're on track.
Hope all in the west are ok ((hugs))- the bad weather's coming this way - the wind's getting up ....

Drove to Christmas destination, ahead of the bad weather and arrived on time. Have already watched 3 films with great nieces, and 1 bottle of rose seems to be empty already! Feet up as others buzz around and do stuff.
The rain is pouring down here and the wind is really howling. I got drenched coming home, it was absolutely piontless putting up an umbrella. Nice and cosy now on the sofa.
Stacey hopeyou're feeling better, can't be poorly for xmas.
Hope everyone is safe and sound indoors, this weather is horrendous.
We have a small dish of Belgian chocolate coins on the table - they are for Christmas but OH keeps taking some from the dish and bringing them over here - he will have to bring some more back from the farm shop tomorrow
