.... I'm going to purchase a small Holly tree because yesterday I saw the Postie, a quite large postie, push her way through from next door across my garden and it's now obvious it's her who broke a 4' branch off my Pineapple Tree. Ggggrrrrrr. ..........
Think I'd send her manager a bill for the holly!!! Or at the very least ask them to remind all posties not to trample across gardens and through hedges, and to use pathways and gates wherever available, or CCTV will be installed
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I planted Berberis for the same reason in a previous garden RB. I also contacted Royal Mail after a relief postman ran through my garden and hurdled the brand new fence, damaging the grass I'd just treated en route... I must say, they were very helpful and responded quickly too.
Rain is staying away for the moment but I have some errands to run. I hope I can get something constructive done later.
I don't want to know about Verd's undergarments.....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Well that was fun She couldn't open the version that I sent her, and then told me she couldn't adapt/use one with tables in (I have these in mine, but they are not visible) so she gave me the format and I have had to do it at home and email it to her She will now fiddle with it and send it back. At least it shouldn't have mistakes in it like OH's did when she rewrote his!!!
On the way back home I bought 2 mondadas and 2 salvias and a red hot poker Oops!
Went to GC. Bought a new big square plant pot for the "Lady of Shallot" rose I bought in Suffolk. Not as pretty as the lead look one I bought in Suffolk but clematis "Betty Corning" has gone in that one.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Am off to get my CV rewritten! Job Centre was concerned that I hadn't had an interview for a while. Not as concerned as me though!!
Hope everyone gets some warmth today
Panda, you'll be fine.
OH had an interview at Waitrose last year, which was his first ever and he's 58.
Drives ( mostly ) sprayed with Pathclear until a bit of a breeze got up.
Digging up spuds this morning then off to Calstock to meet friends who are down for a bikers rally.
