Dove, I read that you can tell robins by the crest on their heads??? Is it called a crest? If its curved its a guy bird and V shaped is girl and I only remember that because V is for V**ginaimage am I wrong?image

    ....

Afraid so - the markings on robins do vary a bit, but it's nothing to do with their gender. http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/wildlife/f/901/p/88331/609303.aspx

Apparently sometimes even the robins find it a bit difficult to tell which is which image

Liri, you've had an exciting dayimage.  At least you only had a mark on the ceiling - it could have been much, much worseimage.  We once had a starling behind the bath panel.  Don't ask - we still have no idea how it got there.  Have a lovely evening.

Love the idea of the frogs chasing about bekkie.  I can hear the music in my headimage

Dove, I'm glad to see you have made your way back from the wildernessimage.

KEF my calendula seeds have germinated in a day and a half so I think your comment on the speed of uploading photos is spot onimage.  Liri nearly didn't get a birthday cake.

LilyP it is infuriating hearing about all the lovely weather when we hardly dare stick our noses out of the door but it will get here eventuallyimage. Hope your back eases soon.

Hope everyone else's aches and pains have been worth it.  Certainly sounds as if they haveimage.
