Oh dear Yvie, What are you like! I hope it eases for you, such a shame you cant takebrufen, do any of the muscle rubs help? You will just have to book in for a massage!
RB, a fan! Ive still got a hoody on, and put a coat on for the garden, cant believe the shops are selling out of compost, on saying that, ive run out, used 5 bags since yesterday!
Hi Chicky it isn't just iPad my new pooter doesn't want to play either As Runny says and Lesley told me just click okay and wait..it happens..I've had seeds germinate faster
Had a great afternoon in the garden cleaning out old leaves from someof the flower beds. So much is beginning to shoot up. Gave my roses a bit of a prune too, and will feed them all tomorrow. Really feels like spring now ......lovely
Runny, I am reading your post then sitting with my eyes closed trying to imagine
we have still got the wind ( really beginning to get on my nerves now) and it had rained most of the day
got a short walk around garden this afternoon but still not much happening Bekkie I had to put jacket scarf and gloves on! When are we going to get spring?
Yvie I can't take Brufen either but use Deep Freeze which is a very effective natural gel
at the moment I am flat on my back trying to get relief from sciatica which started up a few days ago. Really just as well weather lousy
Wintersong your garden sounds so lovely but the buzzard thought so too! we get the occasional sparrow hawk what a racket there is!
Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.” A A Milne
Dove, I read that you can tell robins by the crest on their heads??? Is it called a crest? If its curved its a guy bird and V shaped is girl and I only remember that because V is for V**gina am I wrong?
Sorry LP, im sure the nice weather will get to you soon, is there nothing else that will help your back? Maybe its a good thing you havent had gardening weather!
Liri, you've had an exciting day. At least you only had a mark on the ceiling - it could have been much, much worse. We once had a starling behind the bath panel. Don't ask - we still have no idea how it got there. Have a lovely evening.
Love the idea of the frogs chasing about bekkie. I can hear the music in my head
Dove, I'm glad to see you have made your way back from the wilderness.
KEF my calendula seeds have germinated in a day and a half so I think your comment on the speed of uploading photos is spot on. Liri nearly didn't get a birthday cake.
LilyP it is infuriating hearing about all the lovely weather when we hardly dare stick our noses out of the door but it will get here eventually. Hope your back eases soon.
Hope everyone else's aches and pains have been worth it. Certainly sounds as if they have.

Afraid so - the markings on robins do vary a bit, but it's nothing to do with their gender. http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/wildlife/f/901/p/88331/609303.aspx
Apparently sometimes even the robins find it a bit difficult to tell which is which

Thanks Dove
, just hope I haven't offended too many robins in my day
