Back in the hammock again . Will have to join you in a watering spree in a minute Panda - although we have rain forecast for tomorrow - daren't trust it to come on recent form though
Mr Chicky is pleased as punch with his new garage roof . And poor roofer man is now on his way back to Sheffield :O
Rain seemed like it was arriving late this afternoon just before I left work but it hasn't come to anything and I really need it for my grass seed. It's very oppressive and unpleasant....bit like Verdun's rude driver....
Don't think I could manage a hammock chicky - too scared to try one
Glad your roof is up to scratch
Enjoy your driving W'song - top down, hair blowing in the wind....
Thought I'd seen and heard it all till I went to speak with young fairy last night at half ten-ish. Wondered what the noise outside was - a woman out in the dark cutting her grass - with an electric mower. What on earth is wrong with these inconsiderate people?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
We're supposed to have rain tomorrow too Chicky, won't stop me watering tonight though Glad OH likes his new roof
Sounds about right Fairy, why worry about disturbing people? Surely she couldn't see what she was doing.... I know it's light in the evening but that's stretching it
Fairy i don't understand some people, they have no consideration for others. The little princess 3 doors down was out in the garden about 9.30 last night screaching her head off. She's 7, she should have been in bed on a school night. In this heat we all have our doors/windows open
I ate some of the Dundee cake , didn't nick it though - honest!
I was very near your local lake this afternoon DD. I'm going to lend my little grey mare to a 16 year old girl who lives near the lake. I'm hardly riding now, no one to ride with either as all my riding friends say they are too old and this girl has grown out of her pony. Her father and stepmother have horses and ride too. Two of the paddocks are by the river and their horses were sploshing about keeping cool under the trees. Lena would like that.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Goodness me Verdun, that is very blue ... http://www.sarahraven.com/flowers/plants/perennials-plants/salvia_patens_guanajuato.htm
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Looks nice though.......
Will try taking a pic of mine and putting it on later
Ssshhh, don't tell, but I think that's the rain on
No, I was mistaken, the sun has just come out. Looks like I'll be watering later after all

Sorry rant over.
I trust my hammock implicitly ....having just scoffed a Magnum
Bonkers was my thought chicky
It's not any different to me getting up early to walk and deciding to cut mine at half six in the morning. I just wouldn't do it. Simple.
lily - I totally sympathise. Mine were in bed by 9 during the holidays when they were small. They need a routine - not fair to them or anyone else.
Bit of Dundee cake would be nice DD....
