Light showers here, just enough to cool it down a bit
Deadheading in the garden to prolong perennials, also took some euphorbia cuttings, don't know if it's the right time but I accidentally chopped them off so...
Panda, I've got a salvia that colour and it's called Neon.
Dentist was a bit traumatic. My teeth have always been rubbish, mainly due to me being scared of the dentist as a child and filling in my dental forms 'no treatment needed' before mom ever saw them.
To cut a long story short I need about £5k for implants otherwise I'm going to look like Sloth out of The Goonies. (Not those sort of implants Verdun!!!!)
To cheer myself up I popped into Ashwoods on the way home had a cup of tea and piece of pear and raspberry pie. On the way out a couple of sticky plants attached themselves to me. It was a real shock when I saw them as I got into the car. Gaillardia 'Tizzy' and Alstroemeria 'Imala' are very pretty though. Have no idea where I will put them, but no doubt it will involve moving plants.
Yvie, that sounds the right description I feel your pain with the dentist, when I was young (12ish) he drilled a hole in my tooth and then told me to get out, he never wanted to see me again . . . . . . so he didn't! I went to a new dentist when all my back teeth had holes in - he was an NHS pure luck find, brilliant and kind, and not scarey I have followed him from place to place, and he always lets me know where he is moving to as he knows I won't see anyone else
Popped into town with Ma Panda with specific aim of buying pelargoniums (10) and ended up with 2 guara, a Salvia Love and Wishes and an Acanthus We then went with Pa Panda to get some compost . . . . and I came away with a Callistemon, an Echiveria and an Alpine Thymus Oh and a metal rooster
Rain started just as I got in from work at 5. Perfect type for my grass seed Think we're to get the thunder etc tonight, although apparently we had some last night - I just didn't hear it
Going to get my new camera in a few mins so that'll keep me busy.
W'song - think euphorbia's quite easy to propagate if I remember. Of course - you meant to take those pieces for cuttings didn't you?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Oh dear Yvie what a shock. At least you managed to cheer yourself up with a couple of purchases.
Glad that your cousin seems to be adjusting to his situation Verdun. At least he knows to eat all the grapes quickly.
Pippin looks very contented Matty. I'm sure you'll have many lovely holidays albeit without your caravan.
That was a good shopping spree Panda
I've spent all afternoon planting up the bare border. Not finished yet but hope to get it finished tomorrow after I've been for my new specs. When I can see better I'll probably want to move it all about again. All the plants look so small in there
Hooe your grass seed gets a good watering tonight Fairy. My midge hoody arrived today so I watered the plants wearing it this evening. Fortunately we're not overlooked at this time of year

Its a good job that I dont live that close to Ashwood. I would be the size of a house, and spend all the holiday saving fund on plants.
Pouring down here, thunder and lightning too.
What a shame I was just about to go and water the garden........never mind I'll wait till it stops

Sorry to hear about cost of teeth Yvie x
Glad to hear cousin is still improving Verdun
