Hello folks - I'm back and have my feet up. Spent 6 hours at The Lovely Home with the Aged Ps at their festive fish & chip lunch and chatting afterwards. A good turnout, trustees, family members, local vicar etc, mulled wine to start with and a raffle. Ma got very chatty (quite confused some of the time as well but happy so no problem - but we did cover some topics several times).
See you've had a chatty day - great to see Fairygirl has been allowed off the top of the tree for a little while
And what have I been saying in the Mag? Must get around to subscribing
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Lily - there maybe a few little men left - I'll put some pix on tomorrow. The 'special' one is drying - ready for going on the tree.
Some whips still to do. Weather not been great here for planting, but they're heeled in round at the back so they can be planted when it's better. The ones that are in withstood the wild winds thankfully.
Off to bed soon. See you all tomorrow
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hebe in the middle and ferns on the end and lots of bulbs to pop up
Here is how the pond area looks now - old liner there think there is tree roots under as well, lots more digging to go a new pond liner bit bigger

Hi, Fairygirl, glad you are back, have missed you. How did the hedge planting go? Gingerbread men, yummy, any spare ones going?
