    Good morning all image

Another glorious morning image  (after a very hot and sticky night image).  Wonky is visiting Norwich today to get her hair done - we'll meet up for lunch and then when she's been coiffed we'll come back here, load my car with plants and the Dyson that she's giving a home to, and I'll take her back to Ipswich and see her lovely garden image

Weather's broken here, tubs nicely watered through the night and rain forecast  everyday on the GW report, which I am pleased about. Temp down a bit too.

Just gor a couple of dozen Gaillardia to plant out,  a couple of Cannas  and some primulas that Hostafan gave me and I have finished, well, as much as you do finish!!!!

Dad's got his radio on, OH got the TV on, they are both keen on the Women's football.

Morning all. Hot again here but no rain - think we're getting the storms tonight that Lesley had last night image

We don't go more than a few days without rain chicky so I can usually move plants in summer without any problem! Last two summers have been very dry and hot though so I had to do a lot of watering. Weather can't make up it's mind just now so we're getting humid damp breezy stuff. It's all my fault for buying a fire basket and sowing grass seed. If I'd only bought the burner it would have poured endlessly and if I'd only done the grass seed it would have been sunny.  imageimage

Good morningimage.  I did get back to sleep thanks and OH has taken the dog this morningimage.  The path looks dry already despite the torrential rain we had but will see how the soil is for planting this afternoon.  I'm getting coiffed this morning too Dove so will be able to meet you and Wonky for coffeeimage.  Perhaps a bit out of my wayimage.

Hope you get your rain tonight Fairy,  It never seems to rain when you need it and never stops when you don't.  Have a good day allimage

    Morning all

Thanks for the page comment chicky, it was a number ending in zero

What a hot night?? image I had a disturbed sleep also LesleyK, one of OHs fans on full is a bit like a jet engine on a stand,  blasting across me to get to OH so I got a bit wind battered and turned up the other end and then I got chilly image yes yes I did when we had kicked everything off to sleep. So I was trying to organise the duvet in the early hours image

Anyway, we all survived yes? Hopefully we'll get something torrential to cool it down here

    Morning all.

Back aching from spud lifting and bed mulching in tunnel yesterday.

Lazy morning I think, before coal face duties at 1pm.

Overcast and quite cool here so might do some watering .

Hope it's not too hot for those who don't like it ,and hope it's hot enough for those who do.

    Devon.

Morning all. 30° forecast for today, 36° for tomorrow.

We are going to an 80th birthday party today, but I rather wish we weren't. We are going to England on Sunday and 3 of my children have announced they will be staying here, with 7 grandchildren over next weekend as it's a long one with 14th a bank holiday. They want to see son 2's new baby. But we won't be here. I usually make up all the beds for them. I must do housesitter's room too.

House needs a clean, the spiders have been busy. String must be cut off the hay bales in the shelter for the horses. And lots of other things need doing before we go.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
