Sunflower Lady, just bung em in - nothing venture, nothing gain, if they flower but if not then you'll know for next time and you can tell us if it's OK, because, actually, I don't really know!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
What a lovely day it is here Loads of jobs to do in the garden but I want to just hold down a bench and enjoy the warmth Maybe I'll hold down a bench while I have a coffee and work out what jobs to tackle first
SL, I found a whole load of tulip bulbs in Jan that I hadn't planted so I bunged them in - I figured if they don't grow this year then they may next Fingers crossed for us both
Hi SL, good to see you, hope you and your family are well and work ok xx
I'd plant the bulbs SL, might not get flowers this year but probably next.
Yes RB, loving the sunshine. Washing blowing about on the line, a bit of weeding done. Chopped back a couple of shrubs. Hope this weather lasts and drys out the grass.
It's not straightforward is it? I came in to use the loo - when I went out again I couldn't find where I'd put my gloves - while I was searching for them a robin had started rootling about where I'd been digging so I had to wait for him to finish his lunch ...
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Magic, morning in garden, just pottering around, doing jobs as I found them. Did nothing on my list that's for sure.
Garden is looking colourful at the moment, with Snowdrops, crocus and Aconites flowering their socks off. I have lined one of the paths with pots of Irises, and they look good to.
Going to have lunch outside and then decide if I feel like carrying on.
Lovely to see you Sunflower lady.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Lovely weather the birds are seriously house hunting and saw a bluetit with moss in his mouth.
Liriodendron. We had problems with jackdaws done the chimney and they nested there. When the chimney was swept later on the sweep got two binbags of nesting material down. I have heard of people being overcome with carbon monoxide by birds blocking the chimneys. We've since had cowls fitted so no more problems.
