Hi all, busy couple of days, which I was already expecting but then had a last minute booking last night, lovely French man, had driven from the alps doing a delivery, poor man was too tired to go out for dinner so had some bread & cheese & garlic sausage with me (& some wine). We had a lovely chat & have now exchanged e-mails as he rents out a ski chalet which I rather fancy a week in next winter.
Today, is Judo day and also throw in the dentist for Charlie & Shadow meeting his housemates for when we are away week after next and the day sort of disappeared. Poor Charlie had his first ever filling, but apart from that dentist said he was fine. Also passed a surprise Chinese New Year procession in the street as we came out of the dentist (local school I think), caused a welcome distraction.
Did manage another quick walk around the garden this morning (lovely sunny day) and found a surprise spread of beautiful yellow crocus and lots more camellias opening. I have however, identified lots of gaps for bulbs for next year, going to be a busy autumn.
Really love the bench Yvie (& Panda), I wonder does it come in black too, fancy it for my new 'rose garden', trellis is black so would like to match up.
Friend offering to bring me back some FBB from Wilko's in England this week, anyone any experience of it, only £2.00 a packet, thought might be too cheap to be good?? Also is their bird food any good, also cheap, but wasn;t sure of quality?
Shadow now demanding evening walk, so pop in later.

Dunno about the blood fish and bone DD. I was there today inspecting the fungus sprays. Didn't fancy their cheapo range so went for middle of the range in the end. As for their bird food, I currently support an entire neighbourhood of the flighty kind on their fatballs and the dried insect things, sans complaints. Even the dog woofs up the pieces that fall.
Thanks Wintersong, I have to order soon so it gets to their English address before they leave to get back here, probably worth a chance, can't seem to find it here & alternatives seem so expensive. I do wish I could find a shop like that here, they have a web site & deliver but not abroad. Sure the birds won't complain, just worried it might have been full of 'filler' rather than food.

You lot have been busy, i walked down the tow path the bank and sainsburys, met 4 new ducks on the canal,do ducks escape? These were really odd looking, didnt look like wild ones 3 were pretty much white, with the odd buff feather, one had a tufty bit on its head, the 4th one was a bot like a female mallard but bigger and with lots more white bits all over, they were all very tame, not a good thing with the little darlings that live round here!
Was shattered when i got home, havent long woken up, oooops!
Verdun it's making sure it fits and you can chew properly, maybe bits drilled off upper teeth and a bit drilled off the one it's going on. A lot of biting onto paper to see where your teeth meet and grind. It doesn't hurt just can be a lengthy job. One tip make him tip the chair upright so you can bite properly and assess how it feels none of us eat laying down. Tell Mr Tist if you need to swallow you will blink manically so he can stop..if he doesn't then bite him
Wimp I didn't have any injections, never even had one for a filling now root canal surgery and a molar extraction after removal of wisdom teeth is another story You'll be fine.

You do see some interesting clever birds Runny
No injections KEF? Gosh, you're very tough. I would rather have an injection before they clean my teeth but he refuses
