Photos welcome on here too, as is chat, coffee* and cake (*other beverages also available). There is a picture thread too - Garden Pictures 2015 - that one is nice as it keeps all the photos in a place thats easy to find. On dark, grey days I like starting at the beginning of the picture threads and gradually working my way through the seasons - makes me smile. You can't do that on this Forker thread, unless you have lots of free time, inordinate patience and unlimited broadband
Chicky - I love looking through the photos, but then worry that my weeds will show up bigger than the plants if I contribute. As we're having some building work done, and have to do the prep, I've not had the time. I'll get a couple in soon. Loving the Miss Bateman I have on the obelisk my son bought for my birthday a few years ago.
Wonky things do move on and it sounds as though you have a much better environment to garden in now but I bet you still wonder about your neighbour's children.
I'm at home when I should be out on a trip to Blair Castle - couldn't risk it because of a dodgy tum, When Rb mentioned hers felt like a washing machine I didn't quite get it. I do now.
Lesley Hope you feel better soon. Miss B is lovely - I bought a very small one early last year, potted it on and put it in it's final place late last summer. It's been flowering steadily in the last few weeks. Passed a lovely one earlier today - spilling over an ivy covered wall. Beautiful
We get a short season up here Dacha (Scotland) Cold, wet springs and autumn arrives in August, although we often get some nice weather then. Plants can get held back quite a bit. Everything starting to grow away now though.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Well this week I feel I have turned a major corner - feel more like me, no longer sore, AND have driven car (first time since November) was well supervised though, but have DONE it.
Then on Thursday we went to the Dog's Trust in Evesham and i have chosen a doggie . I have to wait for various checks, (home, cats) and have an adoption talk.
She is 2-3 years old(older tan I wanted but....) she is about the size of a cocker spaniel and has a collie look about her - very pretty - just hope she passes the cat test - so excited
Should have her next week, adoption talk is next Saturday
OH won't let me buy anything for her in case she doesn't like cats

The Prom princess is home...in her PJs, in her bed, and with a sore knee ....these youngsters are such lightweights....

WW - that's a great prize! Hope the plants are suitable or you might have to visit a GC. Well, someone has to struggle on and do these things....

Dianthus are great for pots MrsG

Hello
Just caught up on last couple of days, just can't do a whole week - pages and pages and pages.
Had a lovely long weekend with all my offspring and their offspring etc. We went to Chester zoo, staying nearWrexham
Well done WW on a prize, I'm sure it will be worth the anticipation.
Sorry to hear your news Dove, so sad but you should find good memories.
Welcome to a Moscow member (Dacha), will be interesting to hear how your garden is
Hve some good news as well, but just been given a bacon sandwich so will post when I have eaten - with homemade ketchup
