OK bekkie you can have some too image.  The more people who help themselves the more chance I've got of resistingimage.  Hope you're feeling better after your 'nap'.

Beautiful day here so far but a chilly breeze.  Very pretty daff Pandaimage.  Ours are only  an inch above the ground so far.  I'm off to see what is out there...

  • Welcome back BM - you've been missed!  image

We have misty sun here, so I'm off out when I've sorted the kitchen, to see if the buff-coloured crocus I noticed the other day have opened.  No daffs for a while yet, but the snowdrops are lovely this year.  image

"Soft linen" sounds just the job for my living room.  I'm currently trying to persuade OH that it wouldn't be an unnecessary extravagance to redecorate...  I reckon we'll have to, anyway, when we've taken the plunge and had builders in to waterproof the floor (a downside of being built into the hillside is occasional puddles round the feet of the sideboard...  image)

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • Afternoon tea anyone, homemade jam too?

Weather a bit miserable here so been for a swim with Charlie, done the i*****g and thought we deserved some scones for a treat, thought would be selfish not to share. image

Going to get some decorating done here soon, but afraid it is just whitewash right through upstairs, too dark otherwise, very small windows & lots of dark beams. Wish we could have a man in to do it like Dove, but OH says nothing wrong with my arms. image

Noticed a lovely camellia flower opened this morning, looks like quite a few to follow too, daffs still a bit to go though.

Must go, before all the scones are eaten by a certain little boy! image

Magnolia image I once had a new build home covered in it OH liked it. Now the dining room is Damask Rose and terracotta in the kitchen, cream lounge. I want a green bedroom but OH says no, well let's see who gets to the paint first image..if he beats me magnolia will be happily accepted.

Panda you have a daff open  image   I have them just showing, also tulips poking through faster than daffs and also hyacinths beating them, crocus are slow. Bluebells are showing but they are in a pot. Hellibore's well happy and I have a few snow drops in various places. I also have an anemone in flower.

I copied Happy Marion from her thread and have cut some Forsythia and put it in a vase and it is starting to flower image Spring around the corner..we can hope image

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their day image

Hi folks. Finished my weekend shifts and had a lovely chicken dinnerimage

I'll be taking a fabulous bubble bath once my food's gone down and I can dream sweet dreams of what I can get done in the garden for the coming weekimage

It's been an incredible afternoon, with clear skies and a mild 10 degrees, walking round the garden I discovered allium peeking through my borders, Clematis buds popping and all my pots of tulips showing signs of life as well!image

    Woop woop

P.s  we'll come back BM image

Sunday lunch guests have all gone. I feel much better today. The children were lovely and lunch went very well.

My bedroom is primrose yellow and lilac with wisteria stencils, all painted by me! Yuk and Passé I hear you cry, but I like it. Sunny and cheerful. It was inspired by an old Changing Rooms programme.
