Morning Guys looks like being another good day hope it's the same for all of you too. The chairman has gone off to work so I can sneak a little more of his lawn and fill it up with Zinnia as long as I leave it tidy he might not notice. Tea and ginger nuts first though
The sun is just starting to shine and OH said he'll do the morning dog walk. That means he's not available to do the afternoon one or it's going to rain.
Hi Kitty - hope all goes well for Kitlet today. Same wishes to chicklet and all exam takers. Do the authorities realise the stresses of exams affect the whole family?.
Fairy it must seem very strange not to have a schoolgirl any more. My younger son couldn't wait to finish and is happier at work than he was in those days

Morning all. Still in my pj's enjoying the peace and a cuppa now my lot have been waved off to work/school/college, I have the house to myself for the rest of the day.

It's a lovely sunny morning and the French doors are wide open, I was enjoying listening to the birds outside but they're now being drowned out by a cackling magpie.
Morning everyone and best of luck to all sitting exams and hope the day flys by for all that have to go to work. Having cuppa t in courtyard with sun beating down before a spot of hoovering and then, hopefully rest of the day in my garden. Clay soil so will have to be turned over in places and a go with tha hoe as its gone a bit hard with the sun we are getting And all plants veg need earth moved about around them so they can spread. Have a lovely day everyone
Am practising getting up a bit earlier as I have a place to be at 10.30 tomorrow I'm off later to get my hair done so I look the part Sadly I caught the sun a bit yesterday so will have to hope it calms down
Bit late, but I hope the exam takers have unpanicked success today
Hope everyone else has a great day too - I'm not sure a trip to the hardware store is high on my exciting places to visit on a day trip though Dove

Wall to wall sunshine out there at the moment, have just enjoyed coffee outside the summerhouse.
Need to go for a walk today, must do something about the Mr Creosote like figure.

Glorious here this morning too.
V jealous of your iris Chicky. They did well on our sandy soil in Hants, but here on heavy Devon clay, I've no chance.
Our divine window cleaner is due this morning. ( bit of a diet coke ad moment

OH had delayed his shopping trip until after the windows are done, tee hee.
Potting on clematis I've not managed to get into the ground yet and mulching the bed with the cannas and dahlias.
Last week before OH restarts his commute back " up country" to work. Better make the most of him this week.
