Just made my shopping list for the Harrogate show. Won't show it to OH cos it's a bit long... It's a good thing I'm going by train cos it limits my ambitions a bit!
Thumbs up to porridge AND bananas here - both separately and together. Bananas must be yellow though.
Great news about Mum, Yvie. Hope hubby continues to improve - so glad things are looking up!
Just watching Alan T talking about Capability Brown.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
I've recorded that Liri, although I'm not a fan of CB as he did away with so much of the beautiful structure of the formal era. I'm a Renaissance girl at heart
Off to bed for me so I'll see you all tomorrow
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning all. It took ages to read back and I only missed one day! porridge - not for me - I'd prefer some sort of muesli or other packaged breakfast cereal. Hubby is a porridge boy. Bananas - they need to be just pale yellow for me, not green, and definitely not spotted like a giraffe. Hubby discovered a really good recipe for banana cake which is a good way of using the overripe ones. Tend not to buy them much lately and not sure why. The trounless is that they only stay at the preferred ripeness for a day or so then go off quickly. I even tried the banana hook theory of hanging them but it didn't work for me. I can't remember what else - oh yes, I hate the sound of babies calling out for their mothers and the mothers grieving for their babies. The sound seems to echo all over the valley. I refuse to buy veal! Cruel mercenary. B...s.

Try putting in the quote, then double space so you write your comments further down a bit.
