I was thinking of you today Panda - because the weather was hideous here today. Amazing the difference a half hour's drive can make It's become strangely warmer and windy now. All relative though - it's only just in double figures
Slightly envious Dove - I'd like to go to the Tate down there. Not very good at holidays though You'll have to make sure Verd goes with you though - for a bit of culture
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
had to leave at 8.30 to make sure we made 10 am app with neurologist no snow fortunately but heavy heavy rain.
apparently this injury to my back is nothing to do with the last time. He suspects a bulge, well I knew I had several of these but didn't know I could have one away down there! So. more MRI and then options discussed He Did seem impressed with my numb foot!
i am impressed at the effect the sun is having in Hista s knee Looking out the window just now I could fairly manage some heat!!
i have really been rather "out if it " for days so apologise for lack of social skills. Will catch up I hope.

Sounds great, Dove. We are going to Norfolk 2nd half of June, does that mean you won't be there?
We'll be back by the 14th BL
FG - we love St Ives - have been so many times and know it quite well - but I've not actually stayed in St Ives since I was expecting son, and he's 43 this month The thing about the St Ives Tate is that the art has to work really hard to compete with the building and the wonderful views.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Evening - busy busy day but a number of jobs ticked off the ever-growing list .
Have speed-read back so apologies if anybody forgotten
Edd - is yours a community project? - it sounds like it. If so, well done you and well done to Vic Sponge for her contribution.
Glad Panda's trip went ok even if it was a sad occasion.
A holiday in the centre of St Ives sounds really good Dove. We've had a holiday cottage like that before (not in Cornwall) and it is very liberating to be able to walk to everything and not have to worry about traffic jams and parking problems. Makes for a very relaxing stay . Also means you can enjoy the local 'refreshments' and support the local economy a bit more!
Hope things get better soon Lilly P
I'm a little short a*se - 5 foot ought and a half. Pluses are plenty of legroom in the cinema and on planes. Minuses are people like Panda laughing at you and offering a bunk-up so you can see through the 'hedge windows' at East Ruston...
Not saying that I bear a grudge or anything Panda but I haven't forgotten - will get my own back one day ...
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
I'm up there with Clari and Panda 5ft 9. On nanna duty today, went to see grandaughter's christmas concert, it was lovely, singing carols made me want to put Christmas decorations up.
Not felt too clever today, I've had a little sniffle and sore throat for a few days but this morning it hit my sinuses, ended up back in bed, not like me.
Managed a few jobs this afternoon but feel like I've lost a day. Going back up to bed now and hoping to feel better tomorrow. Have to play taxi driver to Charlie in the afternoon, he is in a big inter - school cross country event. And then tomorrow night we have a last minute booking in the B&B so might have to get the vacuum out.
I am nearly 5' 2 and a half, would have loved to have long legs like my mum but ended up with Dad's stumpy ones.
Looking forward to my little holiday in April, will be in Oxfordshire, Shropshire and Devon, flying visits to lots of friends.
Good night all.
