Hard to believe it's December. Is it only me who thinks this year has gone very quickly?

Off to work - in the dark. Sigh...

I actually wrote ark initially, instead of dark. A real Freudian slip! image

    Morning all.

You're the same height as me then KEF, why did I imagine you taller?

Looks grey outside, but it's not raining.

I think the year has gone quickly Fairygirl, but I think the older you get the quicker time passes. Days at school went by sooo slowly.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • 5'7" here - that used to be tall - I was one of the tallest at school but now there are so many young women much taller than I am ........... unless I've shrunk image

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Flumpy it has been horrendous today. High winds blowing everything all over the place and over 30c.  I've been feeling quite off, all afternoon. Now that it's 7.30pm, and the sun is behind the hill. It's cooling off and the winds are easing.  Can you believe that they are predicting 4c to 22c  tomorrow. Even possible snow on our high country (about an hour's drive away) and in Tassie, snow down to 1000m!  My poor old body can't cope.  My poodle has been suffering too, but she has her grooming appointment tomorrow, so that will probably help her with less hair and a nice wash. She'll smell a bit better as well. image
