Hope you're having a glorious afternoon. I'll load up some photographs of the weekend works this evening to bore you all with. The pond was in less than 24 hours before it was frozen over with a thick frost that did a wonderful job of hiding the fact that the grass / vegetable patch / patio / slate gravel area / drive way / path / kitchen floor ... are all coated in a thick layer of mud (7 tonnes of it in the case of the vegetable patch - most of it being really good quality top soil!)

It hasn't gone entirely to plan so we'd be really grateful if next weekend is a dry one!

Stacey, how easy is echinacea to grow? I found a packet of seeds yesterday so may give it a go.

    Well hello again Traceyimage

Sun has been out and it reached the dizzy temperature of 11C. Sun now gone in and back to 5C in 10mins. Think it's going to be another very cold night.

Managed a little bit of weeding where it wasn't frozen and I could reach from the path. Nearly fell into the flower bed once. Had Walter for company. He is the "daft" collared dove that appears to live here. He's called Walter because he isn't a pigeon. People aged 27 might not know what I mean. In fact prob' only me knows what I mean. image

Right exciting meal tonight image Pasta bake..I don't much like pasta but H loves it. Supposed to be starting a healthy approach today as I've scoffed, with some help, all that was left from Xmas..so much for putting stuff on a high up shelf so I would forget it was there. However, it would be bad taste not to have some wine with pasta wouldn't it? ( Also helps it down! )

Right, best go make the sauce for later. BFN
