Did quite a bit of gardening this afternoon. Weeded the greengage tree bed that I dug last year. Planted some Echium Blue Bedder round the edge, a penstemon, some ladybird poppies and 3 purple salvias. Planted up 1 trough and 2 pots. Planted out 10 tomatoes and 1st batch of runner beans.

I put some photos in the gallery, started trying to name them, but the names came out in the wrong places. How did Dove manage, above? Months ago it worked well, but now whenever I post photos everything comes out in the wrong order.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Good morning all image  The moon was very large. Great picture.

Temp quite low overnight, 5.1C but the sun is out and there's not a cloud in the sky and the temperature is rising now - a gardening day lies ahead.  I shall make the most of it as I'm leaving very early tomorrow to spend a day at an auction down south somewhere with son.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
