I've just had to look up all the plants you described Verdun. Some lovely plants there. Unfortunately none I can plant as I garden on sandy soilimage

Evening everyone image I missed Clari's headache, glad you are feeling better.

MrsGarden, thank you and yes it is science.....Biology, good luck to your son too and to Chicky's daughter and anyone else taking dreaded exams.

I've put some chicken wire on the inside of my picket fence around the veg patch, partly for the Sweat Peas to climb on and partly to try and keep wildlife out image.

That's ok Chicky good bit of extra Chelsea to watch makes it like two weeks long, me recording it too

I went into garden with lobbers and cut back some of next doors hedge which was over my bee and butterfly border and hiding my foxgloves and teasel and stopping the rain getting there

I also cut hedge of a different area in the garden and now garden waste bin full just have to wait till next week for it to be emptied

I had a look at my broad beans in the raised bed from Woody flowering like made so good amazing - then I looked down to the soil and a large round hole was there - think ratty using the raised bed to help get under fence to next door

There is a cute ratty in our garage think she has little ratty's now they made a nest in there some where and found all the stored bird food now, I feed them now and food stored elsewhere

my sweet peas have moved to the next gh hardening off as door stays open
