Car boot a bit of a flop Yvie and RB, three mystery plants for a fiver which is a bit steep considering they were in plastic cups! No clue what they are! ID thread posted!
Chicky, that picture is stunning! More please, looks like you had a lovely time!
Enjoy your garden visit Panda! Glad you're feeling better for it!
Its hard to stay disappointed when I have so many lovely things to plant from the time at Doves
I like quirky too Jo, makes me feel at home!
Bet Pandas having a wonderful time! I've had to come in as its so hot, planted my climbing roses, cosmos, scented stock, and others I forget now lol but we will see in time! Dahlias went in also and salvia much to the bees delight!
Had one of those lovely pottering mornings, no lists to work through, so just ambled about doing some weeding, potting up self sown seedlings and planting a few bits and pieces from the greenhouse.
What made it all the better, was being able to do it in a T-shirt.
OH is cleaning the summer house, it must really be summer.
Hope you are all having fun too.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
We are thanks Pdoc I've been potting up and potting on under the sunshade on the terrace with GQT and now some Trollope for company, OH has vac'd out the car for me (lots of crumbs from pasties eaten down by the harbour after visiting Ma) and the robins have been helping themselves to mealworms on the terrace
Some lamb leg steaks are marinating in herby lemon and EVOO to go with a ratatouille for supper - I agree - think summer's here
Wonky - I've got too many petunias - I'll pot them up so they can grow on and you can have them next time I visit
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Wouldn't call it fun as such Pdoc but I've got the 25+year old box out of the ground and a large conifer stump as well. I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself, but a bit tired. Looking forward to just pottering in a few weeks.
Shame about the car boot Wonky but your new plants look very nice. Loved the pics of Dove's friendly (demanding) robin. Jo your purchases sound great - carvings and plants
Hope you have had a great day garden visiting Panda. Photos please when you're ready. Lovely pic of your visit chicky.
Lots of potting on and up done - everything tidied away and a weak Campari and soda has been taken - now to make ratatouille, hummus tzatziki and grilled lamb steaks

I spent the morning repotting cacti for himself s conservatory next door. Then spent the next hour picking out spines from various parts, despite wearing thick leather gloves. This afternoon i have reorganised the greenhouse, removing shelving to outside and getting tomatoes tied in to their final positions. Work tomorrow.
Went to Stansted garden show yesterday (near Chichester) and Katie from Youtube Lavender and Leeks had a stall so got to meet her and see her dad and mum talked about my plot and hers and I brought a few bits a crook, a string holding frame and some bulldog clips
Had a good wonder around show buying a few bits (plant wise) a poppy red large and some more plants for my hanging basket, some coloured labels, a cool whisk and frying pan, also some cake
Found Fairygirl
and her door
Tardis anyone
or a Darlek made from astro turf
Here is my plants I got
Been to the allotment today and cleared 3 metres of top growth still the digging to go, this is in a different area as I want a temporary bed for left over veg and flowers

Think one if us needs to start up a mealworm farm to supply Dove!
Watered everything, soaked the lawn, moved some stuff, planted other stuff, no space left!!!!
time to start filling pots for the terrace!
Showered the soil off, promising myself I won't go out there again today!
