Love that description of porridge, it is just like wallpaper paste. We had it when we were little because, as you said Verdun, its cheap. Not very fond of cheap anything. Anyway a slice of wholemeal toast isn't expensive and boy does it taste better.
Just back from hospital, mum is much better. She's moaning so I know she is on the mend. Had the xray on my knee, two weeks before results get back to GP.
Runny after what happened to us earlier in the week I wasn't going to announce on an open forum that we are going away. Pleased to say my younger sis is having work done at hers so we have a house & garden sitter
