You should see this place Panda - it's famous and one of the Wonders of the World - https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=thorns+norwich+image&biw=911&bih=422&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=uF51VZ1ogeVQ2eCAqAc&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAw

Right, we're off - see you later ... image

Good morning and welcome Treforimage.  You'd be even more welcome if there was cake to go with that cuppaimage.  The great outdoors is calling me now household chores are done.  I've got to get to grips with the weeds in between the paving.

Panda - happy haircut.  Will be thinking about you tomorrowimage.

Back from a lovely, if short walk onto the moors.

Hawthorn [ intoxicating smell, made me feel quite woozy ], Rowan, Chestnut, Campion, Cow Parsley and on top of the moor, bog cotton all in flower. Natures white garden certainly looked better than my attempts at a white border.

How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

Sounds a beautiful walk Pdoc.  Nature gets it right when it gets the chanceimage.

Hosta and Rb, having a smile at your window cleaner descriptionsimage.  Think I'd prefer Hosta'simage.  Our old one looked as though he'd advertise PG Tips.  Great speed up the ladderimage.  Actually he reminded me of Norman Wisdom but he never fell offimage.  My dad tells a story of his Mum who answered the door to a windowcleaner looking for work and said 'No thanks.  I've been watching you across the road and we don't have round windows' image.  Enjoy your ice-cream Rb.

Ok - i am at the GC in my lunch hour (getting my car washed, so that Panda has a clean chariot for Sunday, to match her snazzy new "do") - and have not been tempted by anything. Better check my temperature - must be sickening for something image

Afternoon all. What a very strange few days! I feel like I need a week off just to catch up... ha like that'll happen.

His Lordship has informed me that he is going to cycle home tonight so I will need to drop him off at work tomorrow morning. Does this sudden burst of exercise mean he'll be getting up early to walk the dog so I can divert to his place of work or will I be given that honour? image

Perhaps not answer that one until he actually manages to cycle home without my having to pick him up. The bike hasn't been used for a year at least! No idea what has sparked this sudden interest in exercise: every time I mention digging the vegetable patch he doesn't seem too keen to loose the belly.

Right. Best get the washing machine on another load. It'll be worn out!
