Oh, Punkdoc. Hope you are well soon.  Gardens are good for looking at. I often give my garden a good looking at.

The vibrations are coming from across the road. They are removing leylandii and bamboo and putting it through a very noisy vibrating shredder.

The leylandii won't come back, but the bamboo will be back  up to 10ft in no time at all.image

Well we've decided we're definitely having two green houses (he's already agreed to lay the bases for them) so the plans for the vegetable plot have once again been torn up and we are now on revision many of lots!

Means I can't get to work on the herb garden nor the vegetable plots as they'll both be no doubt in trampling range but I'm hoping (weather / smog permitting) to get out one evening with some string to start marking up the new boundaries so we can start visualising the finished plot.

His new Man Shed turns up in 14 days too. Looks like I really ought best get him cracking on the rest of the decorating we'll never be in the house come warm weather!!

Oh Doc, sorry to hear about your back - I had missed you but hoped you were out in the garden - take it easy and get well soon - Alan 4711's not been around lately either - I wonder if he's gone in for his spinal op?  The hospital's quite close to here - I could shout and see if he answers image

    Hello everyone image

Verdun, I NEED. Some of those. Tangerine Geums (not sure what Geums are, will need to google!).

Sorry to hear you aren't well still Punk, hope you are a lot better and back in the garden soon.

Clari, I have been meaning to ask how your headaches are and is that what the special diet is for (sorry, I'm not being nosey - I just wondered if it was connected and if so is it helping?), anyway hope you are feeling better too.

And Ashleigh with a migraine too, hope you are feeling better soon.

When I can back after the weekend my car was covered in sandy stuff and all the front windows, I blamed my neighbour but it seems I may have been wrong image

Why is my iPad suddenly insisting on putting random full stops everywhere......has it never heard if proper nouns!!!!!!

Punk - I can heartily recommend a good dose of rum and coke. If you're going to be flat on your back there may as well be a good reason! Really hope it improves soon. I know only too well how backs never choose a good time (i.e. when you're meant to be visiting the in laws) to play up.

O.Lady - the headaches are indeed related, seems your belly really does rule over your entire body. Day 8 today and I'm craving fish and chips but have had NO headaches since starting the living off rabbit food. I will admit my patience with my partner who seems to think it "nice" that the moment I start to prepare my little  vegetable selection of a meal to come and join me in the kitchen and prepare his meal is wearing thin! image

Hope the rest of you are keeping safe. We don't sound like a healthy lot do we!!

I'm healthy (fingers crossed) but fast becoming completely kn*ckered - planting in and around the pond, balancing on the edge between the pond and the Shady Bank and reaching across to drop oxygenating plants in the middle - rearranging the rocks a dozen times and  still being dissatisfied, already stubby nails are now all broken - I've come indoors for a coffee - but it's all worth it - we have a pond skater on the pond image
