Good morning Dove, Verdun and rosemummy.

Grey skies here this morning.  We had a fair amount of rain yesterday evening and overnight which was very welcome, especially as I had been moving plants about.

Sounds idyllic rosemummy - a picnic by the river at Chatsworth.  Shame you couldn't see the gardens but it is so expensive for a family to visit anywhere nowadays.

Dove - saw your purple sage as I was skimming through the gallery yesterday - it does look very nice  but from the sounds of it would not suit our clay soil. Your border is looking goodimage

    Piddling down here image

Early days OL, it will come good, most of the problems you have mentioned arent anything to do with the gardener, they are just things that happen image

RM, pin the leafy bit to the soil just above or below the leaves, it will make roots image

That's an amazing coincidence Staceyimage  How many are you hoping to get?  It was very interesting to hear your views of HC.  It's such a shame that money has become the driving force.
