Morning Dove, BM, Lizzie & Fairy.

Hope car passes MOT Dove, mine next month, always worry what they will find wrong. Now use a local garage after my little one man business retired image OH takes car for me as I'm sure they look at me and think add a few extras she won't know.

BM I have looked in the mirror and think there is something wrong with it, someone  has painted some lines and creases on it image

Oh Verdun!  Been there and done that!  Or very similar - but our trip involved a 50mile midnight train journey, only to discover that all was now well - so we went back to the station and got a train home .... they do grow out of it, eventually image

How's that Sedum Spectabile you bought this year from Notcutts?  Mine has done really really well but now looks a very poor specimen, with hardly a leaf on it.  I'm going to try to take some cuttings from whatever leaves I can find.

Morning all! Very breezy but dry out!

  • Morning all.

Poured last night has just stopped. Our 'lawns' need cutting too but we need a week of dry weather before we can cut them. The forecast in yesterdays paper was for hurricanes!!!!!!!image

Feeling better today must have been a 24hr thing......thank goodness. Hope you're better BM and George too. (Sorry beks I didn't know he was poorly)

Hi Bill good to see you, hope you and Mrs Bill are well.

Hope you find your whatsits Dove.

Verdun - you're far too accommodating image

Think the hurricane's arriving on Monday/Tuesday lily but it's making a start here this morning! Glad you're feeling a bit better today.

My grass was cut about two weeks ago and it's been colder so I think I was lucky. It looks quite good - might not need any more done to it apart from collecting any leaves lying on it.

Morning all, hope all poorly peeps and pooches are feeling better.

BM: What woofies did you have Yviestevie? Maybe you should get another one! image

No more dogs for me BM I loved my Westies dearly but dogs can be such a tie and I like to be able to pack up and go whenever the fancy takes me.  It used to cost me over £200 in kennel fees everytime I went on holiday and don't start me on the vets bills.

Lesley: Yvie - where are you going to put the new additions

Lord knows Lesley, I've got loads on order, Ive got to plant up where my alliums are to hide the leaves (have ordered some geraniums for that) and also plant something to grow through a Gyp.  The Epimediums are for a couple of difficult dry spots which get shaded from the rain by trees.

Today I'll mostly be learning how to do quotes.....
