I'm going to see Swan Lake on Tuesday at our local Odeon Cinema, streamed live from Covent Garden. We go about 4 times a year to various "Live performances" They do opera too and some west end shows, the last one we saw was Billy Elliot. Excellent value for money and you don't have to go to London( not that I've got anything against London, only the distance)
KEF, if you're bored come here and clear up. I really hate putting everything away because I work till I'm bushed. The last straw and camel's back comes to mind.
Well, I ache a lot and I've not done any gardening unlike you lucky lucky people!
It's been barmy here today. You could believe in summer and when I took a turn around the garden after work I saw solitary bees, hover flies, foliage, my Crocus look A-mazing, lots and lots of buds breaking, 'tis wonderful.
I read back on all your antics but too tired to really string together some conversational replies, suffice to say...I've eaten well with a glass or two of vino and Gardener's World ready to watch later on a series link, so alls good in the world.
Oh...I'm also making a To-Do list for the coming week
Back from the pub feeling rather full... lovely lunch though. The rain's stopped and the sun has appeared. Can I bend enough to do an hour's gardening, I wonder?
See you later...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
been looking at dogwood Verd but think I'm gonna be sensible as I've not really got room.... famous last words. Also the Salix flamingo is giving a similar effect so I may go for a ground cover variety, to plant with red robin and that damned awful yellow helebore.
I've still not come up with the right idea for where the 'big fallen tree' was. Trying to leave it until I've seen summer through.
Cut off and tidied a few more branches from Apple tree, thanks for advice on here and money on Friday.
White camellia Carolyn (?) almost popping a bud ( it was an Xmas present and again no idea where to put it).
Lots of grasses in the 'feather bed' which i thought were annuals but seem to be happy...?
