I'd like to watch the tennis Fairy, but they have made such a hash of the highlights programme that I can't bear it, and I'm not around in the day to watch it live.  mr Chicky caught the Nadal match though, and said it was brilliant to watch.

not a drop of rain here, so will be heading out with the hosepipe later.  Off to Hampton court tomorrow, think theres a chance we might meltimage

Such a lovely day with Dove yesterday! image lovely quiet train ride! No phones, music or children or teens! What a lovely fifty minutes contemplation! Saw a valley between two hills that was stuffed with beautiful red poppies that were rolling down the hill and collecting in the valley, too fast to take pic as on train, but it was stunning and you all have imaginations! image

Judging day tomorrow and still no rain whatsoever! image

    Morning all.

8pm finish last night, so no watering in tunnels. Been at it this morning and have shown my lovely neighbour what's what so he can water when we're " up country" next week.

I'm always soooooooooooooo nervous about folk watering whilst I'm away.

We had more rain yesterday morning but it's been lovely since then.

    Devon.

Cloudy today with a breeze, means it's not so hot, but forecast was for 36°.

Dove said "I've been very lucky with dentists". So have I, first husband was a dentist and so is son No 2.

Housework today, going on holiday on Sunday, taking laptop.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
