No fun without heat or water Dove. image

They (builders) might start before winter - weather permitting Lesley. It should have been earlier this year, but I kept putting it off. image

I love Barbra too - but I like to see her rather than just hear her. She's a real performer - all emotion and feeling, rather than purely technique. It's like comparing Joan Sutherland to Callas. It's a no brainer  image

What is it they say? If you can remember the 60s, then you weren't there.

How can you lie there and think of England

  • Well punk doc, I can remember the 60s and I was certainly there. The music was the best ever.

If people could send some positive thoughts to Wonky and her lovely hub - it's a bit grim there at the moment - the emergency gas engineer will be with them before 10.15 tonight!!! image

And the kitchen sink unit and new cupboards have not been fitted as promised image

it took the plumber half the day finding out why there wasn't any water - a fault in the mains supply to the whole building must've happened last night.  What rotten luck!

    Would you believe it!!!

She's just had another call from British Gas ... the person who was supposed to set up the emergency engineer tonight didn't do it!!!  Wonky now has to call them after 8pm tonight to get an engineer on the doorstep first thing tomorrow morning .............. image   image
