Hi Gg agree Parham is lovely. It is very near where my best friend used to live so went there a few times.
Chicky, BC's is great at the mo'. Saw HH a few year's ago and saw grasses in a new light.
Verd... my "faster broadband for villages" is stalled at present. The various authorities in the New Forest are arguing over "loss of grazing" for the ponies due to the construction of a new Box, which is all of a couple of square feet! You couldn't make it up. Should I write to David Cameron or phone the BBC. It's scandalous.
Bekkie I looked up Compte de Champagne and it looks lovely. I love the way it has different shades of yellow on the bush at the same time It does say in the description that it is hardy.
Wouldn't bother making your mantrap Fairy. If you're anything like me you'd forget it was there and fall in yourself
Enjoy your visit to your daughter Lizzie
Shame about the broadband Woody. The 'authorities' do like their red tape
Sir Woody if you write to PM make sure you use your prefix.
Weather very mild here, but been dull with odd bit of sun now windy.
Just back from m's where been raking leaves and chopping up privet cuttings OH has reduced two buddleia ( brain dead on spelling ) at home as we are told yet again strong winds etc.... from the hurricane Monday ? Tues ? tomoz' ? whenever. Bet it rains tomorrow as I've washing to do.
Now time to cook curry, be rude not to as it's Saturday, nearly put Sunday, don't think tilting head forward has done me much good never know it might help things as what goes in the front meanas something falls out the back
Good luck to babysitters & those who are still outside slaving, thought gardening was a hobby
Does anyone know where I've put the joint thingies for the Botanico metal frame that fits over the raised bed? I was going to erect it and fix some pigeon netting to it, but I can't find where I've put them - I thought they were in a box marked Cloche Fittings, but they're the fittings for the other cloche

Dove, if you were at this house it would have been OH who had tidied them away, and when he denies it we have to accept that Mr. Nobody who lives here
In the greenhouse?
Good suggestion Lesley
Maybe in the freezer with all cooked goodies
Think we might keep this going for a while until someone "finds them "
Verdun have you got Dove's thingies? Any chance they are in the cabin?
