Hi Bill, good to see you again. That rose looks gorgeous and such healthy looking leaves. Is it a climber?
Bekkie I'm sorry that George has been such a worry. Same with children - whatever you say about them they prove otherwise So glad he has regained his vigour. You shouldn't have told him how old he was on his birthday
Lizzie the weather really does influence the way we feel and what we can do (not a lot in my case)
Sorry you've not been well Beaus. I miss your posts when you're working and thought you must be doing overtime. Get well soon.
Panda I wish we'd had a chippy. The meal at the club was worse than school dinners. It was the resident caterers last job so I'm a bit worried I'll be next on the sick list. On the other hand the cabaret was brilliant. Live sax (yes sax not a spelling mistake) and wonderful guitar. Only boogied a bit
Yvie - where are you going to put the new additions
Not a whatjamacallit in sight so far - I'll have another look in the garage later, but I'll pretend I'm not looking, that way they won't hide from me
Hope everyone (dogs and gardeners) are well today
It's ridiculously warm here (16C already) but raining - I'd wanted to give the lawns a cut - they're much too long, but unless things change suddenly I doubt they'll dry enough. I'm going down to son's this afternoon as my car's booked in at his local garage for a service and MOT - not going to pay dealership prices any more
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Glad George feeling better and hope star gaze is too. I'm ok, just not allowed to do anything and frustrated as job list getting longer and longer! Rained again all night but warm so really wanna get cracking in the garden, can't ask OH bless him as he is doing everything else!
KEF have you looked in the mirror yet?are you impressed
Hope you find your thingys dove, I'm sure they will be in the garage, I'm assuming you have looked in the shed?
Lovely rose bill and look forward to you posting more
Going to a leaving France lunch party after church. An elderly friend who is going back to England to be near her daughter. She's been here even longer than me.
25° forecast today!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning all. Wild and wet here - wind whistling . Big change from yesterday so I'm glad I got on outside when it was nice.
Lovely to 'see' you Bill - hope you and MrsB are doing ok
I use a local garage as much as possible too Dove - these dealerships have you over a barrel sometimes. Had dreadful issues with a Honda one when I had my 4 wheel drive. Your doo-hickeys will turn up when you least expect them
A day for catching up on indoor chores I think
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Nothing wrong with a night off from cooking Panda.
I watched the dancing and then promptly fell asleep, went to bed at midnight, so if beauty sleep exists I'll look lovely when I look in the mirror
