    Good morningimage

A wet and windy start to the day here tooimage  I'm hoping that all the leaves will move to the bottom of the garden in a nice, neat pile.

Glad your niece was unditched Verdun.  You'll have to have a power nap this afternoonimage

KEF you'll have to buy a new mirrorimage  Think I will tooimage

Lesley - when I lived round the corner from here, I had two mature trees in the front garden. Because of the wind direction, the leaves often got blown straight off the trees and down the road so I got a much smaller haul on those occasions for my leaf bins! image

Lovely sunny, dry but windy day. Nursing a very sore finger today, trapped it in the new bifold sliding patio door posh thing yesterday. So sore it made me cry! Not known to be a wuss normally! Can't bend it, kills like heck if i try to use it. Not helped by also nursing a hangover.

Well, the sky is blue so there's another load of washing  blowing energetically on the line, and I'm pleased to report that the woodpigeons do not appear to have spotted the cabbage plants yet.  I've been keeping them away from the broccoli by sticking some sparkly seaside windmills amongst them - I could do with getting some more.
