They do look the most scraggy, dead old things over winter, but they come back all fresh and green in the spring, the main thing as with most others is to not let them get water logged

Verdun said "tomato leaves need to be dry to avoid blight.......blight needs damp leaves to take hold so in a GH blight should, in theory, not exist" which is exactly what I thought, yet somewhere on this forum people were advising misting the leaves. Never heard that one before. Think mine have blight because it's been mild and damp instead of the usual hot and sunny.

Oh busy I hate it when my toms get blight! No sign here yet italophile on this forum is a tomato expert he reckons not to get the leaves wet... Ever since I have followed this I haven't had blight!! Lesley I'm going to get 4 or 5 agapanthus lol

I've always followed Italophile's advice re tomatoes and have not regretted it
